When coming in for a filling, our dentist will conduct a thorough examination, including x-rays if necessary, to determine the extent of the decay and the most suitable type of filling. The decayed portion of the tooth will be gently removed, and the area will be cleaned to prepare for the filling. The chosen filling material will be placed in layers and shaped to restore the tooth's natural form and function.
